ITAF students know Smurfit Kappa

The grade 11 students of the ITAF (Calima Darién, El Tambo and Cajibío) toured the operation in Yumbo and learned from the expertise of the collaborators of the Forestry Division, the SK Foundation, the Wood Treatment Plant, Pulpapel, Mill 4, Packaging Factory and the Experience Centre.

These visits allow students to know the Company that contributes to them receiving a high quality education. It also motivates them to continue their studies and identify fields of action in which they can apply their knowledge and talents.

“Thanks to the Smurfit Kappa Foundation for this activity where we were able to experience everything the Company does and interact with the students of the other ITAF. The attention they showed us was excellent! “Miguel A. Bolaños – Student, ITAF El Tambo.
